A trio of Toronto players scored more than 20 points, and Scottie Barnes and Jamal Shead combined for 24 in a third-quarter uprising as the visiting Raptors used a balanced attack to completed a two-day Northern California sweep with a 122-109 triumph over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.
Barnes and Brandon Ingram scored 23 points, Sandro Mamukelashvili added 22, Immanuel Quickley chipped in with 18 and Shead had 15 for the Raptors, who had used a torrid first half to run off from the Golden State Warriors en route to a 145-127 victory in San Francisco on Tuesday night.
Looking like a tired team enduring its third game in four nights, Toronto took a different tack in Sacramento, falling behind by as many as 12 in the first half before rallying from a 61-52 halftime deficit on the strength of a 43-point explosion in the third period.
Barnes had 14 points and Shead 10 in the game-turning 12 minutes, during which the visitors drew even at 73-all at the 6:37 mark and went on to build a 13-point advantage by period's end.
The Kings, who were also playing the second night of a back-to-back and their third game in four days, never got closer than eight in the final period.
Aside from coming up a basket short of the 24 points he had last month against the Boston Celtics, Mamukelashvili also found time for a team-high-tying nine rebounds, also narrowly missing his fourth double-double of the season.
Barnes had eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals, while Quickley had a game-high eight assists to go with six rebounds and two steals.
Gradey Dick was a sixth Raptor scoring in double figures with 11 points off the bench on a night when Toronto shot 46% overall and 39% on 3-pointers.
Giving Domantas Sabonis the night off on the back-to-back, the Kings got a team-high 23 points from Russell Westbrook, 19 from Zach LaVine, 17 from Malik Monk, 16 from Dennis Schroder and 11 from Precious Achiuwa. LaVine was Sacramento's top assist man with five, while the Kings' Dylan Cardwell was the game's leading rebounder with 13.
Sacramento lost its third straight despite shooting 47% from the field.
