Brad Marchand tallied two goals -- including the game-winner in overtime - and added an assist as the Florida Panthers topped the Minnesota Wild 4-3 on Saturday night in Saint Paul, Minn.
Matt Boldy put the Wild ahead 3-2 on a wrist shot at 12:09 of the third period, but Sam Bennett responded with his own wrister to tie the game 3-3 at 13:11.
Marchand ended the stalemate at the 3:00 mark of overtime when Carter Verhaeghe set him up for a snap shot past Filip Gustavsson for the 4-3 final.
Sam Reinhart had a goal and an assist, and Matthew Tkachuk and Verhaeghe tallied two assists apiece for the Panthers. Sergei Bobrovsky made 18 saves for Florida's third win in four games.
Kirill Kaprizov and Boldy each had a goal and an assist, and Joel Eriksson Ek also scored for the Wild, who have lost two of their last three games. Gustavsson made 30 saves.
Florida's Reinhart opened the scoring at 6:44 of the first period. Gustavsson denied Aaron Ekblad's shot through traffic, and Reinhart wristed in the rebound.
Kaprizov tied the game at 9:17 when Boldy set him up for a wrist shot on Minnesota's first power-play attempt of the game.
Marchand retaliated with his power-play goal to give the Panthers the 2-1 advantage at 18:20 when Reinhart set him up for a backhanded shot. Florida outshot Minnesota 10-5 in the opening frame.
Eriksson Ek tied the game 2-2 on a power play at 4:33 of the second period. Kaprizov was denied by Bobrovsky, and Eriksson Ek capitalized on the rebound attempt.
