Andy Pages and Max Muncy hit back-to-back home runs to highlight a four-run fourth inning and eight pitchers combined for a two-hitter as the Los Angeles Dodgers blanked the host Los Angeles Angels, 6-0, in the opener of the Freeway Series on Friday night in Anaheim, Calif.Teoscar Hernandez also homered and had two hits for the Dodgers, who snapped a seven-game losing streak to their southern California rivals dating back to September 2024.Edgardo Henriquez (2-0), who struck out two during a hitless inning of relief for the Dodgers, who were forced to switch to a bullpen game Friday afternoon after scheduled starter Blake Snell went on the injured list with loose bodies in his left elbow.Zach Neto singled and reached base four times for the Angels, who dropped their fourth straight and lost for the sixth time in the last seven games. Jack Kochanowicz (2-3) allowed six runs on seven hits over six innings. He walked two and struck out four.The Dodgers took a 4-0 lead in the fourth when Will Smith led off with a bloop single to center, advanced to second on a walk to Kyle Tucker and then scored on Pages' 10th home run of the season, a 407-foot blast to center. Muncy then followed with his 12th home run, a 383-foot drive to right. It marked the third time in Dodgers history they hit back-to-back home runs in a game against the Angels, and the first time since June 16, 2002.The Dodgers extended the lead to 6-0 in the sixth when Muncy singled with one out and Hernandez followed with his fifth home run, a 372-foot drive just over the glove of Jo Adell in right-center. It was the first homer since April 15 for Hernandez.The shutout was the second in three games and the fifth of the season for the Dodgers, second in the majors to the Boston Red Sox (six).
